My name is Adalee Martinez and I am a sophomore studying Environmental Science at the University of Arizona. I work in the Barberan lab, where we focus our research on microbiology and macroecology. Currently, we are working on a year long project about the impact urbanization has on microbial communities right here in Tucson. I also, work with kids and teach subjects related to science and biodiversity. I enjoy working with the community and and doing educational outreach programs to inspire youth to be scientist and leaders themselves. Besides that, I love the outdoors, traveling, music and most of all food!
