My name is Angela Smith and I study Neuroscience and Cognitive Science at the University of Arizona. I currently work in the Vanderah lab, a lab that studies pain and pain management, especially as it relates to the current opioid crisis. My project relates to developing a better understanding of how chronic pain conditions work as a basis for future research. In the future, I hope to go to graduate school and get a degree in either Neuroscience or Pharmacology. Outside the lab I enjoy reading, dancing, and cooking.
