Emily is a senior at the University of Arizona studying physiology and nutritional sciences. She
currently works in the research laboratory of Dr. Paulo Pires studying the regulation of blood
flow in normal and disease states. After completing her undergraduate education, Emily plans to
pursue a Master’s degree and eventually a PhD in physiology. In her free time, Emily enjoys
cooking, distance running, and yoga.
