I am a senior at the University of Arizona majoring in Physiology with a minor in Spanish. I have worked in the Respiratory Cell Physiology Lab for 3 years studying the effects of arsenic on the airway and developing a high throughput method for drug discovery. My experience with UBRP and EHS-TRUE at UA have been invaluable as they have helped me develop skills in research and create a network of like-minded peers and mentors. My favorite hobbies include basketball, video games, lifting weights, and hanging out with friends. Also in my spare time I volunteer at Clinica Amistad, a free healthcare clinic here in Tucson. My future goal is to apply to medical school and become a physician.
