My name is Jeremy Anderson, although I go by Jerry, and I’m an undergraduate student studying Biomedical Engineering at the University of Arizona. I was born in Tucson, and I’ve always been interested in the brain and how it can be studied from an engineering standpoint, which is why I did my internship with the Undergraduate Biology Research Program in the lab of Dr. Jean-Marc Fellous, where research into the hippocampus and spatial navigation is being conducted. Aside from science and engineering, I enjoy making art and music (especially jazz), as well as hiking around Tucson’s beautiful landscapes with my friends and family.
