Sneha is a junior at the University of Arizona, majoring in Molecular and Cellular Biology. Hoping to pursue and M.D./ Ph.D, Sneha is interested in the ways that science can be used for solutions, in treatments, cures and therapies. Currently, she works in a cancer biology lab at the University of Arizona with Dr. Andrew Paek, studying how certain protein behaviors may give rise to chemotherapy resistance. Over the summer, Sneha worked at Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix with Dr. Shwetal Mehta, researching how brain stem cells contribute to Glioblastoma resistance. Outside of research and science, Sneha loves going on hikes, sketching, and watching hours on end of Netflix comedy specials.
