My name is Christian Jennings and I was born and raised in Tucson. I am studying biomedical
engineering with an emphasis in biomechanics at the University of Arizona. In addition to my
coursework, I conduct research at the Biosensors Laboratory under the direction of Dr. Jeong-
Yeol Yoon. In my free time I enjoy going to concerts and live music festivals, hiking in Arizona,
drinking coffee, and listening to podcasts. Also, I am the oldest of five siblings and I am a
certified SCUBA diver. I have a passion for learning new things and I am a firm believer in the
promise of STEM education.
