Moreno Ramírez is originally from Ambos Nogales and had the privilege to work for 12 years on border environmental issues before returning to school.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science with a Biology emphasis and a Bachelors of Arts in Spanish from Northern Arizona University and a Master of Science in Watershed Management from the University of Arizona.
