Hello everyone! My name is Madeline Souder and I am a junior at the University of Arizona, and am currently majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Italian. I have been working in Dr. Fellous’ Computational and Experimental Neuroscience Laboratory, where I study spatial navigation optimization in the learning and memory center of the rodent brain. This research seeks to understand the mechanism behind a complex problem that we as humans compute effortlessly every day. When I’m not in the lab, I enjoy embroidery, long rides on my motorcycle, and hand-making pasta.
