Hi! My name is Zach Westman; I’m a senior in Chemical Engineering at the University of Arizona. I’m currently working on projects related to environmental issues as I prepare to apply to graduate school this fall. I plan to pursue a Ph.D. in chemical engineering and hopefully continue to do research that will have a positive impact on both the environment and quality of life for people around the world.

I spend a lot of time on school and research, but I have a variety of other interests as well. I’m a member of the triathlon team at the University, and an avid outdoorsman and photographer. I love spending time out in nature, a passion that drives both my research interests and my other hobbies. I hope to eventually move back to Colorado (my home state) or California and continue finding new adventures as I embark on the next step in my education.
