This senior at the University of Arizona has high hopes as she not only tackles molecular biology, but also linguistics. Christian Jennings

My name is Christian Jennings and I was born and raised in Tucson. I will be graduating with a degree in biomedical engineering with an emphasis in biomechanics from the University of Arizona this May. In addition to my coursework, I conduct research at the Biosensors Laboratory under the direction of Dr. Jeong-Yeol Yoon. MyDuyen Tran

My name is MyDuyen (Meyoon) Tran and I am a sophomore majoring in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Arizona. I currently work as an undergraduate research assistant in the Zarnescu Lab on the aging team with a focus on stress granules in aging and neurodegeneration. After completing my undergraduate degree, my plan is to attend medical school to study emergency medicine and possibly continue research. Stephanie Serrano

Stephanie Serrano is an incoming freshman at the University of Arizona pursuing a degree in hydrology. She began her lab work in the Arizona Laboratory for Emerging Contaminants with the KEYS Research Internship program and is now continuing her work beyond the program.
