My name is Allison Eby, and I am currently studying Physiology at the University of Arizona. When I’m not doing course work or lab work, I enjoy playing basketball, cooking, and kayaking, although I can’t do much of that in the middle of the desert. I work in Dr. Stephen Cowen’s lab and just finished up a project focused on pre-Parkinsonian mice and their ability to consolidate memory by examining characteristics of their sleep spindles. After graduation, I hope to travel and do some humanitarian work before going to medical school.
