My name is Haley Arnold and I’m from Tucson. I’m a junior majoring in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science and minoring in Psychology and Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. I love working with children and learning about their development, and my goal is to become a School Psychologist. I’m currently in the Plante Lab where I test kids and work with children who have Developmental Language Disorder (DLD). Our goal in the lab is to better understand this disorder and to identify different tests and treatments to better help this population. During the summer, my lab puts on the Talk MOORE Summer Camp, where we implement different research studies while also treating children with DLD along with creating fun themed activities for the kids. I also play on the UA Women’s Ultimate Frisbee team and through this I travel and go to different tournaments around the Southwest with lots of great friends.
I also attached three pictures of me. My lab picture is from the summer camp we put on, and it is the picture of me in the dramatic play area.
