My name is MyDuyen (Meyoon) Tran and I am a sophomore majoring in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Arizona. I currently work as an undergraduate research assistant in the Zarnescu Lab on the aging team with a focus on stress granules in aging and neurodegeneration. After completing my undergraduate degree, my plan is to attend medical school to study emergency medicine and possibly continue research. In my free time I like to cook and listen to podcasts as well as spending time with friends on hikes and watching movies.
