Hello, my name is Cheyenne Francisco-Grabiec. I am Navajo and Polish from Crystal, New Mexico and Westfield, Massachusetts. I am currently a junior at the University of Arizona where I am studying Psychology and American Indian Studies. I currently work for Dr. Marti Lindsey at the Southwest Environmental Health Sciences Center’s Community Engagement Core where we work to educate tribal communities on environmental health science topics. In my free time I enjoy reading, running, playing basketball, relaxing with my Miss, and archery. I hope that someday I can return to the Navajo Nation and use my educational story to inspire other Navajo youth to attend college and engage in research.
