Hi everyone, my name is Jason Juang and I am a junior pursuing a degree in Biochemistry. During my
time in UBRP, I have had the great opportunity to discover and understand different facets of exciting
research. At the moment I work in Dr. Daniela Zarnescu’s lab, where I am working on a project that
explores if altering the circadian rhythm affects neuroblast division within fruit fly larvae. I hope to
attend dental school after graduating in 2020 but am still deciding whether I’d like to focus on dental
research as a career. Outside of the lab, I enjoy traveling to different places when I have the time, and
enjoy playing badminton.
